CVRx Senior Management

Nadim Yared, President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Yared previously had served as Vice President and General Manager of Medtronic Navigation, the leading supplier of integrated image-guided surgery products in the world, from 2002 - 2006. He also worked at GE Medical for 10-years, where he held both engineering and marketing management positions. He had been Vice President of Global Marketing for the OEC Medical Systems and Vice President and General Manager of GE's European X-ray business based in Paris. Nadim has an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, and an MBA from Insead in Paris, France.

Robert Kieval, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer: Dr. Kieval is a company founder and served as President and CEO of CVRx from its inception in 2001 through October, 2006. He has over 14-years of medical device industry experience from previous positions including Business Development Director at ProtoStar, Inc. and divisional Medical Director at Medtronic, Inc. He completed his undergraduate and graduate training at The University of Pennsylvania, where he received doctorate degrees in Veterinary Medicine and in Physiology. In 2006, Dr. Kieval was named an Innovator of the Year by Twin Cities Finance & Commerce. He currently holds twenty patents.

Dean Bruhn-Ding, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Clinical: Mr. Bruhn-Ding has 22-years of experience in the medical device industry. He has held positions at St. Jude Medical, Guidant and Angeion in research, product development, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and clinical affairs.  Most recently Dean was the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for St. Jude Medical (SJM), Cardiology Division and held other Vice President and Director positions at the SJM Daig Division in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs, and Quality Assurance. Dean earned his undergraduate degree in Medical Technology from North Dakota State University.

John Brintnall, Chief Financial Officer: Mr. Brintnall has 32-years of business experience and has been the head of finance at six emerging growth companies (three in technology and three in medical devices) including Computer Network Technology, Integ, and Survivalink. John has an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Joseph DuPay, Vice President of Development and Operations: Mr. DuPay has 15-years of medical device experience from Medtronic, Inc., where he most recently was Senior Director in Leads Product Development. He has also held positions as Senior Director of Operations, Director of Quality and several engineering and management roles associated with implantable devices in Medtronic's Cardiac Rhythm Management business. Joe received Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Dayton's School of Engineering.

Tom Moore, Senior Director of Clinical and Commercial Operations: Mr. Moore previously served as National Field Director at CVRx where he ran US field operations. Prior to CVRx, Tom spent 11 years at Medtronic where he held sales and marketing leadership roles in the Neurological business. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
